True media discernment is becoming increasingly challenging for parents. Our children are consuming (movies, videos/DVD's) and interacting with a lot of media (cell phones, the Internet, television, music and video games). Plugged In Online is designed to help "equip parents, youth leaders, ministers and teens with the essential tools that will enable them to understand, navigate and impact the culture in which they live". I, especially, like the fact that instead of using a generic rating system; its movie reviews thoughtfully discuss positive elements, spiritual content, s-xual content, violence, profane language and drug/alcohol use.
