I'm in a fashion funk. The clothes this season are completely uninspiring and unflattering. Each time I've gone out to shop; I've come back empty-handed. The only person happy about this is my husband. I don't like short-shorts, egg-shaped organza tops, square cut jackets, sheer tops, sweater dresses, big tunics, weird high-waisted pants, big bows on anything, plunging cowl-necked jersey tops, and leggings. Why can't I find a fun blouse that doesn't require me to wear a camisole? What's a modestista to do? Embrace trends with shoe (patent peep-toe flats), bag (snakeskin clutch) and jewelry (yellow bangle) purchases and look for new creative combinations of existing wardrobe pieces. Is it fall yet?
